ASCO Annual Meeting
The American Society of Clinical Oncology has a meeting every year …
The goal of the 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting is to foster communication among oncology-related subspecialties and the exchange of a wide range of ideas related to cancer. ASCO’s objectives are to advance the education of physicians and other professionals caring for patients with cancer, to support the development of clinical cancer researchers, and to facilitate the delivery of high-quality health care to patients with cancer. The 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting is designed to serve the respective interests of the Society’s multidisciplinary membership, with education focused on medical, surgical, and radiation oncology
There has been a lot of news coming out of the meeting in regard to melanoma treatment and some of it sounds very promising. Here are some links!

Happy reading!
Hi Dawn, I came across your blog last night and finished reading it this morning. We found out in early May that my husband has stage 3 Melanoma due to being in a lymph. My husband is 36 and we have three boys ages 3, 6, and 10 . His mole was on his inner left knee. I feel like I’m reading our story. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I will be praying for you and your family!
Hi Dawn,
Just checking in. Hope treatments have been manageable. Best of luck to you and Prayers coming your way.
